According to the sources, the all work related to the results have been completed now. Only screening of toppers was going on, and that has also been completed last night.
Data related to the Bihar matric result is ready and sealed in the hard disk for handing it over to NIC people for uploading on the website. It is expected that Board chairman Anand Kishor may make an announcement of releasing the result toward afternoon today, the source added.
Around 75% evaluation of answer copies of class X has been done till March 23. The evaluation process was stopped at all evaluation centres across the state after the lockdown announced by the Centre.
The matric exams (class X) were held from February 17 to 24 from 9:30am to 12:45pm. The first 15 minutes time was provided to examinees to read the question paper and the duration of exam was three hours.
The board had conducted the practical examinations for matric students from January 10 to 21.
The evaluation of answer copies work, which was suspended due to Covid-19 lockdown, resumed from May 6, 2020 at more than 170 evaluation centres across the state.
Altogether 15,29,393 students including 7,83,034 girls wrote class X exam from February 17 to February 24 at 1,368 exam centres in Bihar.
Earlier on March 24, despite the pandemic situation due to Covid- 19 spread, the BSEB had declared the intermediate results of all streams (science, commerce and arts) in a record time.
The overall pass percentage has registered at 80.44%, number of students who cleared the class XII examination has slightly improved by 0.68% in comparison to last year’s 79.76%. Last year, the result of intermediate was declared on March 30.
