CLAT that holds key to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by 22 top national law universities has been rescheduled to August 22, 2020 in view of the pandemic.
The test will be conducted from 3-5 pm. Registrations will remain open until July 10, 2020. Those who have not applied yet can do so at the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
CLAT was first announced to be held on May 10 which was postponed to May 24 and then on June 21.
Earlier, the Consortium of National Law Universities had decided to change the pattern of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020, the undergraduate entrance test for admission in law institutions, to reduce stress among students and promote healthy competition among them.
The consortium for the CLAT 2020 exam includes Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur; National Law Institute University, Bhopal; Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, and National Law University, Odisha.
The new CLAT pattern will have comprehensive questions on English, current affairs, etc. The number of questions has been reduced from 200 to 150.
