This will be a onetime relaxation and will be applicable to June 2020 exam which is now scheduled to be held in July 2020.
The ICSI has issued a notice on relaxation for complying with the requirement of pre-examination test and one day orientation programme for enrollment to June 2020 session of CS Examinations, which is scheduled to be held in July 2020.
As per the guidelines, for enrollment to June, 2020 session of CS Examinations, the students are required to comply with the following requirements:
a) Pre-Examination Test (applicable for students of Executive and Professional Programme under 2017 New Syllabus)
b) One Day Orientation Programme (applicable for students of Foundation and Executive Programme registered on or after June 1, 2019)
In view of the difficulties faced by the students due to Coronavirus outbreak, the ICSI had decided to temporarily relax and conditions pertaining to pre-examination test and one day orientation programme and the students were allowed to comply with the said requirement (both conditions) latest by 17:00 hours on May 31, 2020.
In view of the prevailing situation, the Institute has decided to further relax the above cut-off date till August 31, 2020.
Candidates please note that this relaxation will only be applicable for June, 2020 exam session (which is scheduled to be held in July 2020) without creating any precedent for future.
Earlier on April 30, the ICSI had postponed its examinations (June – 2020 session) of Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ) scheduled to be held from June 1, 2020 to June 10, 2020. The above mentioned exams will now be commenced from July 6, 2020.
