Three shifts have been planned for each day of the examination. Lateral entry to BTech examinations will be conducted in six shifts on October 12 and 13. Test for MCA will be held in two shifts on October 14, while candidates can sit for BPharm on October 14 and 15 in four shifts.
On October 16, tests will be held for MTech, integrated MBA, MArch, MPharm, MPlan, lateral entry to BSc and lateral entry Pharmacy. MBA and BTech examinations will be conducted on October 17 and October 19 respectively.

OJEE is being conducted every year for the purpose of holding common entrance examinations for admission into undergraduate (UG)/postgraduate (PG) level professional courses including BTech, MTech, MBA, MCA, MArch, MPlan, MPharm and BPharm in the state.
Government has opened three examination centres outside the state and 21 centres inside the state for the candidates. These centres were Ranchi in Jharkhand, Patna in Bihar and Kolkata in West Bengal.
